Art Deco Wedding- Matt and Christine

Christine and Matt came to me to help create invitations for their elegant art deco-themed wedding celebration.  We created a subtle art deco motif that was carried through the enclosure cards  and envelopes. We had so much fun setting the tone for an elegant evening wedding.

Christine is an amazing artist. It was no surprise that she came to the table with a plethora of creative ideas. One of my favourites was to add a frame on the back of the reply card  that said "the favour of a creative reply is requested."  She posted some of her favourites at her wedding. It turned out amazing!
Christine and Matt utilized our Do it Yourself option to create their menus and favour tags. Didn't they turn out great?

Much love to Matt and Christine and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day.

“I admit it's tempting to wish for the perfect boss - the perfect parent - or the perfect outfit. But maybe the best any of us can do is not quit, play the hand we've been dealt, and accessorize what we've got.

A Bee-Bee Shower

Saturday, August 11, 2012

I had the pleasure of hosting my sisters baby shower. The gender will be a surprise so I decided to go with a yellow and grey colour scheme.

As you can see I couldn't resist doing a bumble bee theme!

Favour Containers: From  Envelopments in lemon meringue can be ordered through me

Onesie Napkins from here  (I made these into a banner)
My sister didn't want too many games at the shower. So I decided to make a big chart where people could write down their guess for "what it's going to bee"
I put everyone's name in a box and had them guess: gender, weight, date and time.

The Great Buzz Basket! I couldn't resist..

  • Seeing as this is a place I blog about design and anything wedding related, I thought it fitting to share some of my wedding photos.

  • It has been almost 2 years since my own wedding but I wanted to share some images that I hope will please and inspire. I was really impressed with how my flowers turned out. Looking at these photos bring me back to our beautiful day :)

****My bouquet was blush pink nerines with silver dusty miller. The arrangements featured antique roses, hydrangas, eucalyptus and brezillia berries.  flowers done by My Bouquet
